Who this policy covers
This website, orlandowebsite.design, is operated by Orlando Website Design (“we”, “us”), a web design practice based in Orlando, Florida. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website only. If you are an existing client, the handling of material inside your own project is governed by the agreement we signed, not by this page.
Information you give us
The site has one contact form. It asks for your name, business name, email address, phone number, current website address, the type of work you are interested in, and a description of your project. Every field is information you choose to type. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a scope and price for the work you described.
We do not add form submissions to a mailing list, we do not run automated follow-up sequences, and we do not pass your details to any other business for their own marketing.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page you arrived from, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This is standard server and analytics data used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic in aggregate. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes visit data on our behalf. We have not enabled advertising features, remarketing, or cross-site tracking. We use Google Search Console, which reports on how the site appears in search results and does not identify individual visitors. The site is served through a content delivery and security provider, which processes requests to protect against abuse and to deliver pages quickly.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This site uses them for two purposes only: keeping the site functioning correctly, and anonymous analytics as described above. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels for social platforms, and no third-party marketing tags.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Analytics cookies can also be blocked with a browser extension. Nothing on this site stops working if you refuse them.
How we use information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We have never done so and have no plans to.
Who processes data on our behalf
Running a website requires service providers who necessarily handle some data. Ours are: a web hosting provider, which stores the site and its server logs; a content delivery and security provider, which handles requests; an email provider, which delivers and stores correspondence; and Google, which provides analytics and search reporting. Each of these acts on our instructions, and each maintains its own privacy terms.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to two years, so that we can recognise you if you come back, then deleted. Client correspondence and project records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for seven years afterward, which reflects standard business, tax, and professional-record practice. Server logs are kept for a short period, typically weeks. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to the settings in Google Analytics.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, kept current with security updates, and protected by a firewall and monitoring at the network level. Access to the site and to correspondence is limited to the owner. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a determined attack will never succeed, but the practice here is deliberately small in surface area: few plugins, few integrations, and few people with access.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address below and you will get a response. There is no charge and no form to fill in.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act to know what is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, there is nothing to opt out of. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR; our basis for processing is your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in operating a website and responding to enquiries.
Your browser may send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Since we do not track visitors across other websites, there is no cross-site tracking to disable.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and it will be deleted.
Links to other sites
The portfolio describes and depicts websites built for clients. Where the site links out to any third-party page, that page has its own privacy practices and this policy does not apply to it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will be described at the top of the page.
