Terms of use
The terms that apply to this website. Client engagements are governed separately, by a signed agreement.
Agreement
These terms govern your use of orlandowebsite.design, operated by Orlando Website Design (“we”, “us”), a web design practice based in Orlando, Florida. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
These terms cover the website only. Work we perform for clients is governed by a separate signed agreement covering scope, price, schedule, revisions, ownership, and payment. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the signed agreement controls.
Using this site
You may read, browse, and share the site freely. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, scrape it systematically, use it to transmit malicious code, or use it in violation of any law.
Our content
The text, layout, design system, code, and structure of this site are our property and are protected by copyright. The Orlando Website Design name and logo are our marks. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link; please do not republish pages wholesale, and do not use our name or logo to suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist.
Portfolio and client work
The portfolio depicts websites designed and built for clients. Those screenshots are reproduced with each client’s permission for the purpose of showing our work. All client names, logos, trademarks, photography, and content shown in them remain the property of the respective client or their licensors, and appear here for identification and illustration only.
Their appearance is not an endorsement of us by that client, and nothing in the portfolio should be read as a claim of ownership over their brand. If you are a client and want a project removed or amended, write to us and it will be handled.
Information, not advice
Articles and guidance on this site are general information about web design, search, and website performance. They are not legal, financial, tax, or professional advice, and they are not a substitute for advice about your specific circumstances. Search engines, platforms, and best practices change; material accurate when written may not stay accurate.
Nothing on this site creates a client relationship. That begins only when both parties sign an agreement.
Enquiries and estimates
Submitting the contact form does not create a contract or reserve capacity. Any scope, price, or timeline we provide in response is an offer, valid for the period stated in it, and becomes binding only when both parties sign.
Third-party links
The site may link to websites we do not control. We provide those links for convenience and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.
Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the site available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any information on it is complete or current.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business, arising from your use of this website. Our total liability arising out of your use of the site is limited to one hundred United States dollars. This limitation applies to the website; liability arising from client work is addressed in the signed agreement for that work.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of this site or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from the website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
Severability and changes
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; the revised version will be posted here with a new date, and continued use of the site after that constitutes acceptance.
